Scenic Byway, Highway 141 in Colorado

 This was an out of the way highway that I took because it was labeled a scenic byway. One regret is that I was not able to stop along the way to take good photos. There is a section along the chocolate colored Dolores River, canyons and highway that reminded me of a lot of the red rocks in Utah. My other regret- that I didn't turn around and drive it again.

Finally a large turn out for me to pull over and while taking the below photo I notices something reflecting in the sun. On a closer look I determined that it was a car that missed the turn on the upper canyon highway where the blue arrows are.

In working the photos tonight, I noticed another car down in the canyon that is below the fence and is wrapped around a large rock. Not a good corner to drive fast on.
