Breaking the rule with horse tails
These beautiful horses were in the park waiting for their owner to harness them to pull a wagon in the Christmas Parade. One of the "rules" in photography is don't shoot butt shots, but get the twinkle in the animals eye. Well leave it to a photography judge in a show when he awarded 1st place to a group of geese on a frozen lake all facing away from the photographer and wind.
We had another nice, non wind day and I manage to get more miles on my bike and found these in Frontier Park. This was about 2:30 and the Parade started at 5:30.
First horse getting his harness and below two of the 4 almost done. Watching the process I realized that it a a very intricate process. There is another cowboy between the 1st and 2nd horse.
