Time...Illusive time
This is post 300 and posting each day (when I have wifi) has sometimes been a challenging learning curve. I am not sorry that I committed to it, and have learned photography technics that I would not have bothered with otherwise. This is a table top and before starting this 365 project I had no appreciation for and preferred landscapes and outside stuff (still do). Tabletops can be very time consuming with getting the lighting and composition so it works. And boring. With this one I leaned how to remove the highlight and light reflection. No easy task with glass. Please notice almost NO glare.
But for me this photo symbolizes more than just a photo of clocks. It's the time that slips through my "fingers" as the day moves too fast to accomplish all that I wanted to do, should do or required to do. I am struggling with not enough time- or time that didn't accomplish what it should have. This project is time consuming, but not the only thing that is eating up my days.
I had not planned the 300th post to be on this historic election day - it just happened. It will be nice to be "past" the election, but I know which ever way it goes, it is not the end of it! I just hope that America as we know it does not disappear. God Bless America and may the country that our founding fathers created, survive.
